Accessibility and Inclusion

Light Up Windsor is a community event and welcomes everyone. We are always working on ways to improve our Street Fair and the experience for all, including our guests with disabilities and limited mobility.

Light Up Windsor is held through Windsor Mall and George Street. The venue is fully navigable for people with mobility disabilities. The venue consists of footpaths and natural mixed terrain. During peak periods the street fair can be very crowded.

We welcome and encourage all feedback and suggestions from our attendees. For any accessibility related questions please email us at events@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au

Disability Inclusion Action Plan

Hawkesbury City Council is committed to fostering a community that is inclusive for all people who live, work, and visit our region. This means ensuring all people with disabilities and diverse needs have every opportunity to fully connect, participate and enjoy the community, social and business life of the Hawkesbury region.

As part of this commitment, Council has developed the Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2023-2026. A number of the principals contained within the Plan help guide the Events team to create more accessible and inclusive events.
